Not entirely sure how we feel about this but let's be honest, anything Prince does is magic! In this particular case however, Minneapolis' favorite son whipped up a new song in honor of the Minneosota Vikings. The song is called, "Purple and Gold" and was inspired by the butt whooping the Vikings gave to the Cowboys last weekend. Prince told KMSP-TV that in so many words he wasn't messing with the Vikings til this season...ahh, the magic of Brett Favre!

Well, some of the lyrics to Prince's tune go like this! - "Raise every voice and let it b' known/in the name of the purple and gold..."

The Vikings are set to play the Saints in N'Awlins this Sunday for the NFC championship game.

But for the record - Vikings + Prince > Saints + Kim Kardashian 

HANDS DOWN!
